I think I can 'feel' the reason why people do not want to have babies in your part of the world:
- they are way too smart to realise having babies is one helluva gamble, i.e. it is the closest thing to a 'real' life, esp-as-it-crosses-over-to-assuming-1 way-responsibilities, potentially for many generations to come, when the future is so certainly highly 'polluted/clouded' and bereft of old human values;
- my last visit to HK (staying at a perfectly acceptable Renaissance Hotel which shared the amenities (fitness centre, swimming pool, etc) with the Hilton, was an altogether unpleasant one, as we could barely walk out to the malls close by in safety, without either the fear of getting knocked down by traffic, or worse, really awful pollution that I have rarely come across elsewhere on earth;
- most people, unlike you of course, in these parts of the world have long descended/accepted to becoming 'super/duper machines on earth', which is of course, not good. Why would you want to even make 'physical' love, even if 'honorably' to make babies, involving touching real anatomies. I mean, when/where would do you even find opportunities to do so in HK in a 'real' sense? OTOH, I can name you some exquisite places/situations where one can, even at my age, 60+, enjoys, if not the physics, at least the 'alchemy' of making love, touching, feeling, etc and 'performing', but if one is not so smart, one could end up with the dreaded 'babies'....and the guilt ridden responsibilities;
- so many places in HK are totally devoid of human 'touch' even, if there is lots of touching.....I dread to recall my daily MTR trips from the stop near the Ritz Carlton to my office in Tsuen Wan.....all I recall these days, is the horrible 'gongs' that tell you not to block the doors of the MTR;
- why would you ever dare to risk feeding your child melamine tainted milk, even if it is at scientifically proven healthy-dose-of-protein levels?
- if you ever dare to 'view' the other side of the world, with none of the financial wealth that you have so deftfully made happen (congratulations), life does go on, people are not so miserable, people are quite happy, people do 'live' and just merely 'exist', but your mind must be an open one to take on this 'view'.

I am old, mostly useless these days, but adore your postings, esp your unique 'visions', your intellectual views, your brilliance, but dare I say, you are entirely 'clouded/polluted' in your views from the northern side of HK island.....but may you continue to prosper in AU/AG/PT/PG forever.

Until of course, you wait till you stop to smell the flowers on my side of the world....it's FOC!!! That will be my joy, forever, and I don't have long to live.....

Good luck, but you're brilliant, and for this we all followers of you, thank the man upstairs.
