If Islamists take control, they'll do their best to make sure that all of their compatriots would become most righteous Muslims. They will do what Lenin and Stalin did to the Russians, and what Pol Pot did to the Cambodians, and what Mao did to the Chinese -- they will "reeducate" them, if needed - in camps. They'll make them see the light, they'll make them into true believers. At least that's my read of what Sayyid Qutb and his followers would like to do.
