LOL!

Well America is certainly a nice place to live.

In Canada my buddy (TBS) and I attempted tethering on his cell through my PDA via Bell. He had access on his cell. Boy was he nailed big time for usage. No polite warning, no "you cannot do this without a plan" - just a big bill.

Not sure how the rest of the US cell companies work but in Canada the USER must ensure they have the right plans. A friend of mine switched from Bell (included call forwarding) to Rogers ($3 '2500min call forwarding/mth') and didn't know. A big 3 digit bill. She complained and they backed out the charge and she paid $3, but still. Canada runs on the 'bill them and see if they find it' theory. And Rogers' bills can be one of the most confusing bills you will ever read.

OT: My phone (Motorola Razor) with Koodo sucks with call forwarding. ZERO icon telling you this. When you engage/disengage it tells you 'call forwarding is on ... call forwarding is on'.
