Executive compensations continues to be egregious in most of the companies. It's amazing how JNJ BOD finds great reasons to pay CEO $29M while the company continues to fumble through quality issues and recalls destroying its brand cachet. What would it take for them to reduce the bonuses? CEO announcing that the company would reduce drug prices for the poor? Yeah, probably that's the ticket.

Anyway I voted against executive compensation so far for every company not counting BRK and FRFHF. Hmm, I'm not sure FRFHF asked to vote on executive compensation, but I would have voted for it. Fairfax chairman's letter is worth reading ( fairfax.ca ) even if he channels Buffett a bit.

So vote early and vote often.
