Next year they add Texas Christian. Obviously for Football. But yet another Basketball school.

That will make 17 for Basketball. They could divide the conference into the footaball-have divison and the football-not division.

Football-have division

Cincinnati, Louisville, Connecticut, Syracuse, South Florida, West Virginia, Texas Christian, Pittsburgh, Rutgers.

Football-not division

Villanova, Providence, St. Johns, DePaul, Marquette, Georgetown, Seton Hall, Notre Dame (no football in Big east).

Then add one more to make it an even 18. Central Florida, SMU, Memphis...etc. Heck...add all three to make it an even 20 teams.
