I puzzled about questions that addressed slavery and Martin Luther King.
Thats the History part of the test.....
When u go for a real one, they do not segregate history, civics, language etc.... They ask a few Qs, like "How u doing?" etc, to see if u comprehend English &can reply in English. Then they give u a piece of paper with space for answers 1 to 10. They ask a Q, if u say u did not understand, they write it for u to answer. Your answer is always in English, and it is written on the answer sheet they gave you. (No verbal response to the verbal Q asked of you)
At the end (it took me about 15 minutes), you are asked to wait outside. Someone comes and says "you passed, congrats", or says "you need to file for a re-test in 1 year's time".
BTW, when I went for the test, the minimum score was 8 out of 10. If they are now saying 6 out of 10, standards have dropped. |
