If you had a competent individual (GWB, for example) as president, it would be one thing. But having a totally incoherent liberal at the helm, it is hard to say whether it is a sacrifice we ought be making. The potential for a bad outcome is far higher than it was, e.g., in Iraq, because the president has clearly expressed we don't care what type of government results after Q's removal.
