I decided a while back to deal with street people on their own level so this response to you is not in any way an insincere play for false support. (Christ, help me!) But I must acknowledge a deep respect for your response. He was trying to turn you into a worm and you proved your impartial rationality was NOT based on a lack of self esteem or an irrational fear. I truly respect that.

I wish at times that I could take your positional tact which always allows you to simply walk away if need be. Unfortunately, I took on a major undertaking and feel a duty to carry it through even though I must drop myself to terrible levels. I think you know what I mean. I think many people know what I mean. In normal life I don't even swear.

But the idea that loud, irrational, and superstitious people who put NO moral parameters on their behavior can safely be ignored has (I think) been thoroughly dissolved. After we are gone...our families must yet continue. Sometimes walking away from lies is the same as lying.

So that is my motive, so you know...
