Dear Walt, For months now I have wondered the same thing. It sounds like you are in need of a good "conspiracy" theory. Well here goes: :-) 1) Company is issuing paper on demand. ie printing up gobs of shares. It has been my feeling as of late that Winspear trades like it is dragging around 300 million shares. 2) Lucas is dipping into the "cookie jar" again. 3) Loads of "uncovered" shorts that are not being reported. Reasons might include any, or all of the above. More likely the reason might be this sick market. Its like the Titanic sinking, all other ships near by are pulled down by the draft. After the Bre-X and others debacle, this market is in sore need of a positive gold market. Central banks certainly are'nt helping. Anyway keep your chin up, gold still has luster. Surething
