Shalom, I believe that you feel passionately that there is no rapture. You make it clear when you feel very strongly about something. Therefore, I don't feel the Lord would have us bicker about it. You are asking me questions, and I would love to answer them, but should we be trying to do the work of the Gospel all the faster and with all the more diligence as things, in the word of Alice, get curiouser and curiouser?
I have met this matter dead on so many times, and the Lord would probably not have me meet it again, as it doesn't matter. This matter, exactly like the 1000 year rule and reign of Jesus Christ here on Earth, is all too conjectural, and to debate it is foolish. We'll all just find out.
I doubt my mind will change. I will continue to pray earnestly to be accounted worthy to escape these things which must come to pass, specifically that I am not surfeiting. Never could drink, so that sure isn't much of a stumbling block. (Just being silly)
To warn only about "being caught up in the day to day cares of the world" doesn't exactly speak to the minnions of the underworld. Or even to blatant sinners. It speaks to the virgins with oil lamps. I think we need to look up that virgin word, too. |
