Kerm / Newport (bleeding badly today) Newport is bleeding badly today, no news releases but I believe that they are close to announcing Q3 (maybe next Monday). In general O&G stocks seem stable today, so trading in Newport is not consistent with the overall sector. The volumes are very high as well, so the dumping is indicative of motivated selling. Kerm do you know anything, has a brokerage come out with a sell or hold recommendation on NPP. I am tempted to buy based on blind faith, good management, good properties, good track record but I think it is too risky right now. The negatives are ; 1 - week gas commodity prices in Alberta, 2 - behind schedule for production increases even though management believes they can catch up by year-end. 3 - Overall market weakness I know your are watching NPP, what are you going to do ? We were just discussing insider trading, does someone know something that the general public does not ? Cheers
