I am trying to understand what your point is about this company. You now seem to want to mentally joust with other investors on this thread and appear to be misinformed about inveting in general and this company in particular. I asked you in an earlier post to give us some insight into your expertise on this company but you for some reason never responded. I am starting to think that it is because your only interest is to incite other investors. If not than please try and respond to the post. If not than other postes will finally understand your intentions;

Can not for the life of me understand your point. Give me some fundamental analysis to support your OPINION that the DD stocks in general will go lower? Where is the competition to WDC, what will check its growth, and what are you projecting its earnings growth for 1997 and beyond to be? Have you taken into consideration that the enterprise market is where the money is now. For sub $1000 computers to proliferate, you need a very robust internet with large storage capability. Who will provide them???

I need the information. I am ready to listen to you if you have the knowledge and the investment know how to help me make money. I am not interested in your jousts with other investors, just the facts. Since you seem to have predicted the down turn in this sector, I have now read about it in at least 20 posts, .....what fundamental or charting data led you to your prediction.

PS: Western digital stock did indeed fall like a rock from the end of 1987 to the middle of 1993 but for an entirely different reason than now. 1993/1994 was a bad time for many stocks, the drugs in particular were hard hit, but much money was made from the middle of 1994 to 1997. Remember that all of the analysists were predicting gloom and doom during that time also. Be a contrarian and invest in the tech sector now.

PS PS: In my ignorance I remarked in an earlier post to Glen that you were of the female gender, now I am not sure. Please excuse if I posted wrong.
