You know, in February, Tunisia and Egypt's rebellions were going on. Mubarak stepped down Feb. 11. That these things might spread to Libya was not unforeseeable - you'd think the State Dept (where the lamebrain idea began) would be able to foresee problems in Libya at the time .... it really seems dense they'd choose to provide military equipment to Daffy THEN. I checked - protests in Benghazi began Feb 15.

And what did the geniuses in the State Dept and the WH think Daffy would do with military equipment? He has a history .... sponsoring terror, invading Chad, trying to have foreign heads of state assassinated, having planes blown up .... he's one of the last people we should provide arms to.
