J.R.,
"Size" numbers represent the number of "blocks" available to be bought or sold at the current price quoted.

A "block" is usually 100 shares. So 50 x 50 indicates that there are 5000 shares available at the Bid and 5000 shares available at the ask. The sizes often change throughtout the day depending on how many are available at each price.

If you see 200 x 50 (for example), it indicates that the MMs want some shares.

If you see 50 x 200 (example), it indicates the MMs have plenty to sell and they are not looking to buy very many at that point.

But remember, these numbers can change very quickly as orders come in to buy or sell.

Also keep in mind that the MMs might Buy or Sell MORE shares at this price, but this is the amount they are willing to COMMIT to Buying or Selling.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
Brad
