I read Inode's post. There are several ways to view the Katrina disaster. One thing we can agree on is that coordination among different agencies was either severely lacking or just outright dysfunctional.

To me, that's FEMA's responsibility to straighten out. Coulda shoulda woulda is what remains when the plans and the system breaks down. Fingers get pointed. Partisan politics takes hold.

What are you talking about? Just because the Dems will whine, moan, bitch, and act like utter hypocrites doesn't mean I should lower my standards to one level above that.

So Bush didn't meet my standards. I'd still vote for him over Gore and Kerry. And wasn't that the original point?
