A bullish report from BancAmerica Robertson Stephens revived shares of
DSC Communications. The investment firm said shares of the
telecommunications equipment company have plunged from over $30 to
below $20 on "panic-selling," and DSC's fundamentals, financial progress
and new orders make the stock a good value. Robertson Stephens
addressed rumors that have recently depressed the stock, saying many of
them are exaggerated, misinterpretations or completely false. DSC shares
closed up 1 7/32 at 21 15/16.
