IPM upcoming PR update:
I've been watching all the angst here this morning, and so I hit the phones. I spoke to a broker who spoke to Alan Doyle this AM, and was reassured things are proceeding smoothly, and the lawyers are being meticulous with this PR due to it's importance hence it has taken a bit of extra time. Then I managed to get through to the company myself, minutes ago, and was told a final draft had emerged and all that remained was clearing Nasdaq, Bateman and CDN -- then IPM will immedietely release it. My impression was after the close today, but certainly anything is possible, and there will definately be _news_.
This situation is normal. IPM only recently started having to clear its PRs through the SEC I believe, yet another beauracracy. My research tells me that as these things evolve, every entity and it's lawyers can chime in with changes or requests for clarifications, including the consultants whose "opinions" are often quoted or excerpted. And every "change" for one entity must then be cleared by the others. A big process, and I am sure everyone, including IPMs attornies are scrutinizing this release carefully.
I'm completely confident the fat lady will sing, and look forward to her song finally getting the "scam" monkey off our back, and a few of the more repugnant posters off this thread.
