Geopolitical considerations and stability of Iraq will keep us there for quite a while in some form or another I expect. If we leave I am sure their neighbor to the east will be glad to fill the vacuum. We did not go alone in Iraq - there were a large array of players. Personally I never saw the wisdom of this action. One could promote the case that the seeds of democracy that he planted in Iraq are responsible for the current unrest in the region. Who knows though. Yep this war was not helpful for to our budget, not was ligering in Afghan, although I thought the initial action was justified there. Blessings Neil
