zeus,
I realize you are somewhat obsessed with this issue, but at some point even you should be able to recognize that getting alerts and looking for articles on the subject all the time is probably not a very good sign about your mental health.
It you were abused by a priest when you were young or are related to someone that was, I get it, but you have a problem.
I don't know a thing about what's going on in RI.
It looks to me like the Dority case was handled quite well. According to the article you posted (which I would bet my life against a dollar is an extremely biased hatched job) he was a priest in the 60s-70s, was accused of abuse, eventually tossed from the priesthood, did time in jail, and is now a citizen. It's rather remarkable that it was handled reasonably well back when people were so ignorant about pedophilia and homosexuality.
Why the diocese would release the names of some of the accused priests from decades ago and not others is somewhat mysterious to me and deserves to be investigated by the people of RI.
Once they chose to release some of the names they might as well have released them all. I don't see a downside. They are all old men. Some are probably dead, others retired, others not active, and others already tossed from the priesthood like Dority.
The fact that they didn't release some of the names suggests that perhaps their internal investigations showed that some were not guilty of a crime. So they are protecting some innocent priests.
It could also be that their lawyers have recommended they not release any more names because all the priests are no longer in a position to harm anyone, but the lawsuits would be larger and more crushing if they did release them.
That gets tricky.
As I've stated repeatedly. I think the victims should get some compensation and the Church should also pay for treatment.
However, I have a huge problem with indescribably evil non catholic lawyers with a political agenda getting a penny in the name of doing good as they try to maximize what they can pillage and destroy the church.
This is all speculation though.
Without knowing what's going on in RI myself and being 100% certain that the mainstream media cannot be trusted on this issue, it's hard to form an opinion other than you are ill or a fucked up person.
