Funny that liberals have to pretend they like this? They spent 8 years foaming at the mouth over the warmonger Bush and elected the most antiwar candidate they could find who could win, and ... He keeps both wars going .... has his Vice President brag they won Iraq ..... escalates Afghanistan and pledges not to withdraw at least till 2014 ... keeps Gitmo open in violation of his explicit promise to close it in a year .... continues military commission trials .... and NOW ... goes to war against a THIRD Muslim country. Do they know how ridiculous they look defending Cowboy Obama and his non-Congresionally mandated war of choice for oil? Obama 2007 to Boston Globe: “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation,” Obama responded. “As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States,” Obama continued. “In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch.” Obama knows the Libyan war goes against everything he has stood for .... that's why he arranged to be out of the country when he began hostilities.
