More winger guvs serving at the corporate alter. You think that's bad? Check this out... I think Stewart may be off on that one. GE had major losses in 2008 and was basically flat in 2009. I am sure they carried forward losses from 2008 to 2009. GE made money in 2010 but I believe their tax return for 2010 would have been just submitted on the 15th. I doubt Stewart knows what they paid in taxes for last year. Sad as this may sound, GE is probably one of our better corps. As for Obama, during the past year, he's been under pressure to pay closer attention to what corps need to grow jobs. So putting Immelt on his council was in response to that pressure. Immelt is one of the few Dem CEOs outside of Silicon Valley.
