I think it was Mark Twain who said something to the effect that in the US, except for San Francisco, New York and New Orleans, it is all Cleveland. I live in NO and go to SF fairly often so I can vouch for Twain. I can take NYC only in small doses. Sorry, Clevelanders. The problem with Mexico City is crime. If you are seen as wealthy, the risk of kidnapping becomes substantial. A friend goes regularly for biz. He hires bodyguards a/k/a 'guaruras.'
