The medium for conservatives is the same in both the middle east and the US. Dogmatic religions and cultures. Just different manifestations of that in each country. In fact it is true of much of the 3rd world. And both hate groups of conservatives hate liberals. There is your connection. As far as what government's duties are that is up to the subject democracy not you. You need to go back to school and study social science. You do not seem to understand even the basics.
