Yes, but the people have the ultimate say. They support the organizations and they can stop supporting them. Every single person who supports one of these two main parties or the same local officials time after time is the root of the problem. People are the ones who have to demand change, the system itself won't change on it's own. Every single politician has been voted in. What I would love to see is a an election where less than 1% of the people voted.

If you want to get rid of professional politicians then you have to vote in ones who will make the changes needed. But the vast majority still think there is a difference between the main parties when in fact they both serve the same master.
