RE:I think you are not being reasonable when you infer that Merrill Lynch research may be under an erroneous impression. Even if ML doesn't believe the ramp will be a quick one, I would love to hear their or anyone's explanation for the decrease '99 to '00. What do they know about the industry that VLSI and Dataquest don't? These firms are predicting strong growth in DUV for those same years. I absolutely agree that the technology is difficult to implement, but why doesn't the learning curve apply to DUV? Bob
