They won't even really support solar or wind on an industrial scale .... solar farms in the Mojave have already been halted over desert tortoise habitat and other reasons.

These new rail lines they want to build .... never happen .... especially in CA. No way can they build a HSR line that won't impact some critters migration. Oh, they'll spend billions on it but it'll never be built.
