Considering the Touchwiz 4.0 UI that Samsung showed during their Honeycomb Galaxy Tab introduction and will be available for their tablets, the BusinessWeek story has already been debunked. And as far as the first part, Google already stated very clearly the API/framework issues that are trying to fix with an open source update (coming out probably sometime this summer as 3.1). Also nobody should underestimate (I'm certainly not) the software complexity that Google is working on to try and bridge the code base between phones and tablets (that is at the heart of the issue IMO and forced Google to lock down and fix the code before it got into the wild). Anyone in the media who is trying to make a big deal out of this has their own agenda... and that's usually Apple's agenda.
