Now which semi-equipment company has a clear sales outlook beyond 2000 let alone one year from now? Nada one. CYMI seems to be on equal footing here.

With respect to DUV tool demand for the years 2000 and out, whether it is ML's estimates or any others for that matter (Dataquest numbers are far higher for the out years) all these forecasts are mere speculation and subject to change like a stock market forecast three years out. The truth is nobody knows what the DUV tool demand will be then. That is the risk. There is nothing close to consensus now for those years.

This is no big deal with respect to CYMI. Why? To say that any of will have any money in CYMI or any company in the semi-equipment sector three years out based on a forecast done today is nothing more than internet chatter.
