As I posted, IMO, the reason scientists are mostly liberal is because their job requires they constantly test reality

If you broke down that chart further you'd likely find that when a scientist leans toward conservative tendencies, he/she is usually polluted by religion or special interest...in ten's case add greed and avarice.
