>> Dante lives in a 5000 SF mansion? And seethes about the rich?
It is really nauseating, in particular, to see Al complain about the "rich" Republicans wasting all this energy and not paying enough taxes.
You've got a guy who lives in a 5,000 s/f mansion, easily able to pay more taxes but refusing to do so, telling OTHERS THEY should pay more, use less energy, and give their money to the poor.
It is the depths of hypocrisy. If he wants to help poor people, why should he not sell off his mansion and buy them things? If he wants people to pay more taxes, why not sell the mansion and write the IRS a check; they'll take it? If he wants to conserve energy, why does he need 5,000 s/f? We live in half that (and half of THAT just sits there unused). Does anyone REALLY need 5,000 s/f? Unless you've got like 15 kids living with you, I don't think so.
How many fat cars are in his fat garage? How much energy is wasted every day heating and cooling the mansion? And how many homeless could be fed if he would simply sell the mansion, and buy a more reasonable 3,000 s/f model instead?
It is all about "Do as I say, NOT as I do". Robt. F. Kennedy Jr couldn't have said it better. |
