He'll try to paint the stimulus as having saved the country from a Depression. And he'll keep trying to spin ACA as wonderful. It will all come down to the economy and jobs. As things keep incrementally improving, he'll probably get re-elected. The 2012 timing will be good for him vis-a-vis where the economy is.

Unless, of course, Republicans field a candidate who can inspire the public to believe he has a presciption for wonderful things to happen. My guess is that just running on an attack against Obama will fail. Also what's going on in Ohio and Wisconsin may not benefit Republicans in that 2012 election---may cost them actually.

It's looking as though both Kasich and Walker tried to move too far too fast. The public isn't getting its head around these changes and may not by 2012. The timing's bad, I think.
