the military intervention itself was a bold statement of the values we stand for and a reminder to the world that we are a military superpower A superpower indeed, but one which is capable of bombing nations without being able to explain lucidly - why? Obama's messages are garbled because the thinking behind them is garbled. Plenty of Chinese, Russian and other nation's political and military strategists will be spending sleepless nights trying to figure out what is going on and what to do about it. I doubt that this will earn us much credibility as a world leader.
