Perhaps there has been a company that didn't have a life cycle. Have you got any suggestions? Yes, sometime, Qualcomm will ultimately fail. But so what? They have already repaid my original investment and more. So I'm ahead of the game no matter what they do. Meanwhile, waiting for them to fail, they are up to $90 billion market capitalisation with dividends recently increased to a new all-time high. Their sales are going like crazy. In case you haven't noticed, cyberphones are the hottest product ever. They are redesigning the world. There has never been anything like it, though the inventions of languages such as english and maths were quite good.

Does your Qualcomm failure theory have a time aspect to it? Perhaps to the nearest year if you cannot predict the month of failure.

You might like to short it. If you are right about it failing, shorting would be a good idea.
