A (CNN) headline of 50,000 new employees sounds good on the surface and helps obama with his jobs pitch.

What it is: 3.57 jobs per store at under $10 per hour.

Not exactly an obama miracle.

OTOH:

The Food Stamp program has expanded to 44 million and about a 14 million increase since obama blessed us with his many excellent economic decisions.

In support of McD, this is an opportunity for a youngster to gain some work experience and to become accountable. With hard work, commitment and some luck, a few of these new hires will some day own their own store which would be wonderful.

Also, on the plus side, it is not another "outsourcing" of work to India etc.
