Cutting price is excellent. I have been hoping for a good price war in mobile cyberspace for decades [two so far]. Price wars are good for Qualcomm. It will mean people can actually use mobile cyberspace.

Qualcomm gets paid a smaller royalty with a price war and that's fine because we sell so many more devices at low prices. When cellphones were huge and cost $thousands, few sold. Now every man and his dog have cellphones [or at least transponders in the case of dogs]. Children have cellphones now.

I notice you didn't answer my questions as doing so would have meant your premises would be found to be faulty. Yes, 200 years from now, Qualcomm will likely be gone. Probably even within 100 years. 50 years from now, it might not exist. Even 20 years from now, it's questionable. 10 years from now, QCOM will be doing even better as mobile cyberspace will be booming.
