the Palestinian Authority’s well-publicized plan to achieve UN recognition of a Palestinian state in all of Judea, Samaria, Gaza and northern, southern and eastern Jerusalem will reach its denouement. For those of us who are geographically challenged, what historic borders do the above regions match? The original UN partition upon which Israel's recognition was based, or what? OVER THE past year or so since this new Palestinian plan to delegitimize Israel began coming into view It seems acceptance of a separate "Palestinian" state alongside (and separate from) Israel would do more to legitimize Israel (as a Jewish homeland) than the current stalemate, where the Palestinians want all the land to themselves....
