StockBan,
No more Pentium 166??? Good news! You can't get rid of the existence
of Pentium 166 and Pentium 200 servers which need a lot of workstations next year. Competitors' 166 and 200 will slice the big Intel's pie next year.
Let me ask you one question - Does Intel recommend any Pentium II for servers? Does NOVL approve any Pentium II for PC servers? How can you expect a lot of companies to use Pentium IIs? From my understanding, a lot of companies think Pentium class is very stable for PC servers at the moment, not Pentium II. So far Intel failed its Pentium II market strategy. I believe Intel has a lot of inventories of Pentium IIs - It is very clearthat Intel cuts its Pentium II chips in order speed up its inventories.

Take care of your Intel.

James
