Guys, You don't understand farming. I come from a family of dairy farmers. Milk quota's and land can be worth millions. It's like a NY Taxi medallion - it gets you the right to work, but no one lives like a king. Case in point - one Uncle took over my Grandfathers farm. Easily done back in the 60's. Now the land and quota are work millions so when my cousin took it over - huge estate issues and a very large loan. So on paper worth millions, but living on middle class wages. There are corporate interests using subsidies in a big way, but not family farms. John
