crs, I agree with this statement you made, to an extent:

While this is certainly true, the small companies can also innovate and respond to market changes much more rapidly, then some of the larger ones. It as much likely that one of these small companies can develop technology that makes IDTC's products obsolete, as it would be for them to do that to a smaller company. IDTC is a leader in this field, at present; however, they are not that much further ahead then the rest. Many large Telco's and Telecom's have yet to make an alliances with with IT tech firms. I think it's far to early to say game over. Rather the games are only beginning! The next year should prove pivotal as to who emerges as the leader of the pack. It should be a heck of a lot of fun to watch! If one of the companies discussed on this board forms an alliance with say a WorldCom or ATT, I do not think that IDTC would be in the forefront, unless of course, IDTC is the partner.
