FONR - They've been public for approximately three decades and the number of profitable quarters can probably be counted on the fingers of one hand. They successfully sued GE for patent infringement around 2001 and won a judgment of over $100 million. Most of the money was frittered away within a couple of years with very little to show for it. The CEO is a brilliant scientist who invented MRI, but he is an absolute failure as a businessman.
