I was listening to a TP'er congressperson today. She said "Compromise? What does that MEAN? Capitulate?" NO IDEA of how to govern! Lots of people have NO IDEA how to govern -- including most Democrats as well as many Republicans. Given where the country is at this moment, I don't see much downside in a TP/Libertarian approach. The Democrats have been an absolute disaster. And the Republicans have done little to counter it. The Ryan Plan, were it politically feasible, would be fantastic. But what good is a plan that has no chance of becoming law? Unfortunately, our nation has become a nation of takers. Everyone has his hand out -- from the unemployeds to the wealthy and everyone in between. Everyone wants SOMETHING from government.
