Secrecy, even (as you claim, but don't really support) excessive, and possibly illegal secrecy, does not equal, imply, or suggest "trying to run the country".

True but doing everything you can to hide your identity while spending excessive amounts of your corp. money to influence an election does suggest you are trying to control the country. To sit there and make believe that the Koch bros are just some good students of democracy is a bunch of bull.

The truth is it doesn't bother you because they share your ideology. However, if it was Soros or Matt Damon who were setting up dummy org. and seeding elections all over the country to effect the outcome of those elections, you would be damn unhappy. Corps can have an outsized affect on an election compared to the average citizen.....a conseauence not intended by the founding fathers. And a compliant USSC that has been hijacked by conservatives has helped grease the skids.

What is at stake here is not YOUR free markets but this country's democracy.......the only thing of real value this country has to offer the world.
