I was just informed by worldnet that they have introduced x2 technology in my area. Does anyone know if they are also unrolling flex. All this talk of standards can be made moot if the big players all adapt the same thing. I also wonder if adsl technology can become price competitive with what we now have with 56K. Market share amoung consumers is going to be driven more by price than anything else. I'm under the impression that telcos are looking to charge big premiums for this service. If they do the're going to loose a lot of business, not only for themselves but perhaps also for asnd. I think intc's best growth days may be behind because what people will want is not marginally greater processor speed but greater banwith. Does anyone know if asnd is prepared to sell equipment to the cable companies.
