Reduced demand? I have heard more and more talk of a slowdown in the economy which we are either in or beginning. With a slowdown, consumers and corps tighten up, don't buy durables. With no major softgrade demands on the horizon, it seems quite possible that there will be a slowdown in computer sales.

I worry about this. I hope I'm wrong. I have a ton tied up in CPQ and INTC.

There's a great profit margin on the sub 1k and other models, but will there be a reduced demand? Now I know that Compaq is taking more and more of the market share, but if that market is "growing slower", where does that put us?

Do the projections we read take a slowdown into account? What hard information is there on this? All comments welcomed.
