Tommaso:

You state:
> Did you notice that he accused me of being one of the people
> who are CAUSING "these idiotic declines."

With all due respect to you, can I ask you to point out exactly where in my post to you I stated and/or implied the above statement? Here is my post to you for your review!
techstocks.com

you state:
> But he sounded so hostile to the concept of a market decline
> that it didn't seem useful to try to change his mind now.

It is always amazing (to say the least) how one can be mocked for his comments being taken out of context! Where/how did I sound hostile to the concept of a market decline?! Again please go back to my post and review it carefully.

All I am trying to say (and I hope I am not taken out of context): Just because I think the sell off that took place with the high techs was absolutely idiotic, does not mean that I am a hostile bull!!!! I layed out the logic and reason as why I thought the sell off is absolutely idiotic (as I also stated in my previous post to you here is my thinking: techstocks.com. I have always tried to say what I think logically makes sense and if I am proven to be incorrect I accept it with absolutely no question. So if you can express your reasons as why my thinking of this market is incorrect (as I stated in my post) and if you are logical in your reasoning and convincing, believe me, I have absolutely no problem accepting it. After all we all want to gain financially and the concept of "not losing", itself, is a form of a gain!

Unfortunately one of the manifestation of this bull market has been the ego and self claimed investment knowldege mentality that many people have come to possess. In a bull market where everything goes up there are hardly any losers and everyone ends up thinking of themseles as Peter Lynch or George Soros or John Templeton of the world! This is true not only among bulls but also among bears (especailly among bears because their ego has been hurt badly for being wrong so often so far). But the fact is if one truly wants to be successful when it comes to investment one should have an absolute open mind and to use logic (rather than emotion or ego) to understand (or at least tries to understand) the dynamics of market. It is not a manner of bull vs. bear. It is simply a matter of logical thinking and reasoning.
