Someone else wrote this and I thought it was quite good. Just needed a little fixing:
"There is a serious battle going on for the soul of the US in 2011. They extremists are going to a win-lose game for America. Their way, or F-U. No middle ground, no win-win, no civil society if they don't get their way.
One side repeats vitriolic soundbytes, the other speaks in long, reasoned sentences that cause America's A.D.D. eyes to glaze.
One side studied history and learned from mistakes, the other wants to rewrite that history to benefit their bosses and their bosses unmerited descendents, forever.
One side plays on fears and ignorance, and yells what we can't do, the other side dreams and argues for what we can do individually and together if we take responsibility and aim higher.
One side believes the ends justify the means, that rules don't apply to them - THEIR cheating is going to save us from evil conservatism, and that WINNING is everything, and they will worry about moral or ethical forgiveness later. (They love lawyers too, but not YOUR lawyers, only the ones who advise and enable their advantage and game fixes.)
American exceptionalism isn't their guiding principle, it's PARTISAN transnational (somewhat new development IMHO) leftwing exceptionalism.
One side is concerned with the rights and liberties of communities and individuals including the poor and powerless, the other side wants SOME individuals to have the freedom and liberty to collectively rule and exploit the less powerful and poorer individuals in a natural hierarchical order as their "God" wink-wink (Gaia) created things.
WIKILEAK STYLE SECRET REVEALED: Their God = utopia, not Jesus. And they are not as stupid as their professional shills sound when off talking points. When Olbermann and Soros go "rogue", its a calculated strategy so we don't see their slick AMORAL technology driven PR machine choreographing the whole dance. |
