Well,

the Catholic church has stood on such high moral ground these last few thousand years, with their priest scandals and such.

Luke 17

"It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble"

The church is a bit hypocritical when it rails on against abortion, tells a woman she must not use birth control, tells a woman she must not leave her husband (who spends all his time in the tavern drinking and not loving his wife as Christ loved the church), while the woman has child number 10 and is working her fingers to the bone, exhausted, taking in neighbors laundry to make ends meet, not to mention all her own cooking, cleaning, and washing, and so on. I was raised in a church with plenty of those women. No thanks.

WOMEN ARE NOT GOING BACK TO THAT! The church will not be able to turn back the hands of time.

If people want to decrease abortion, than the arguments against abortion and for life, must be won on high moral ground, reaching the hearts of both men and women, since it takes two. The hypocrisy and demonizing must stop.

Love: When someones well being is as importing to you as your own.
