Peter, the only longs I take home are the ones to which I would feel comfortable feeding.
Over the years, the OEX has eaten my lunch, my dinner, my breakfast, and even consumed some of my booze in my drinking days.
I haven't, and I have posted this before, taken the OEX home any more.
My programmer and I have attempted to construct a VERY SHORT TERM trading alert sysytem and named it Red Dog.
We are working on two systems, along with still trying to get the ol dog better......one for a longer short term (days) and a forecast (earlier alert than the Red Dog).

In my very first post to the Idea thread, I said that I came to learn, not to teach...........
S I and this thread have helped me immeasureably and I'm pleased to share what little ability I posess.
My partner ( I did reveal his contributions in the first post) is working hard on using our system to be a vehicle for his retirement. I must have his approval to do more than post my actions as close to real time as I can.
The OEX closed just slightly below my figure of 889 at 888.41
