Regarding your last comment to me, church was full of families like that growing up in the fifties and sixties, so it's recent historical fact. I do not want to go back to those days, pre-birth control. The church's official stance is NO BIRTH CONTROL (except natural methods leaving about one week per month of protection; extremely difficult for most couples to comply with).

According to the church, couples using birth control are morally lapsed, and thats a whole bunch of people in the US.

In my experience as a Catholic, my last comment was neither hyperbolic, nor fiction.
