I suppose one could say that nothing politicians do is surprising, but some misdeeds are worse than others.

Sure, every Canadian party get its share of buffoons, thieves, and general idiocy but in several ways this is a serious abuse by a government in power. It's more typical of tactics by a party across the border, than to Canadian politics.

Or at least it was.
